1 of 2 amazing examples of the "greek picasso", renos loizou [to be sold as a pair] loizou was born [1948] in the uk of greek cypriot descent. early on... loizou was taken under the wings of the famed academic, james eade. these inspired paintings, on hand laid tibetan paper, were thought to be painted during a 1981 holiday in spain. determined in coloured linear movements, this portrayal of the spanish landscape is attacked with loizou's un/abashed vigor. 77x54cm
