m[E] thinks...one of the greatest chairs ever made; the italian brass chiavari chair. made in the 50's this beauty exudes the panache that is inherent in the italian culture, classic & sexy,. it is a highback version and upholstered in italian [what else] alligator stamped patent leather. it does have repair seen in the back legs [oh the stories!] but it certainly doesn't detract from its original appeal. a sculpture -a chair -a must have.
